0 – Zero
The number of Ɔdadeɛs who always keep two neatly ironed white handkerchiefs which they never use.

1 – One
The least number of times a PRESECAN breaks bounds during his entire stay on campus as a student.

2 – Two
The number of weeks until the next serving of fried plantain, ‘kɔkɔɔ’, to be taken with the weekly gari and beans, ‘gɔbɛ’.

3 – Three
The number of opportunities given daily to every boarding student to strike to the dining hall.

4 – Four
The number of routes ideal for breaking bounds out of campus, if the need be.

5 – Five
The record number of times PRESEC has won the National Science and Maths Quiz.

6 – Six
The number of days in a week that ‘Goase‘ operates … it’s below expectation!

7 – Seven
The number of days in a week ‘T-James’ operates … *no comment*

8 – Eight
The number of A1s expected of a PRESECAN in the WASSCE.

9 – Nine
The realistic number of people to have at a table with you, in ratio to the food served at the dining hall, not 13 in all.

10 – Ten
The number of years before the PRESEC graduate is officially recognized as an Ɔdadeɛ.

11 – Eleven
The number of commandments the PRESECAN is suppose to know and obey. The 11th reads, “Thou shall not be caught [breaking rules]!”

12 – Twelve
The number of faces that frown in disapproval when you join them at the dining table.

13 – Thirteen
The number of people (including yourself) you don’t want to have at your table during a dining hall session.
